Photo Jam - Harrow Visual Arts Forum.
HVAF is an established group that supports artists in and around Harrow. The group will organise a day of professional digital photography of artists' work. Member artists and others will be able to bring their work to be professionally photographed, each artist will receive a disc of the images.

Meals on Wheals - Soup. 'a travelling trolley that will unite the artistic communities of North London'. The newly formed artists' group 'Soup', will bring tea and cakes to artists studios and organisations in North London e.g Chocolate Factory (Haringey), ArtsDepot (Barnet) and Fovea Gallery (Harrow), providing an opportunity for artists to network and exchange ideas.

'Arts Week' - Loop
The Emerge Bursary Award will support administration and professional development undertaken to develop the first Arts Week. Organised by Kitty Stirling, this group was formed at the Emerge Conference. The Arts Week may be based in Brent, but also has the potential to offer opportunities to all North London artists.

Life Drawing and Peer Review - North London Women Artists (NLWAG). The Emerge Bursary Award will fund life drawing sessions for the NLWA group. Many of the individual members of the group make work informed by the female form and this award will allow them to share skills and also develop as a group. NLWA group was formed at the first Emerge conference and is open to all North London women artists. Members are accepted following a peer review of work.

Skills Exhchange - Applied Artists Group. The Emerge Bursary Award will fund the development of artists' practice through demonstration and trial of practical skills. This is a new group; some of the members met at the first Emerge conference, current members are based in Enfield.

Bursary Scheme

The Emerge Bursary scheme was launched at the Emerge Conference on Saturday, 12th November 2005. Artists and artists' groups were invited to apply for x 5 £500 bursaries to fund events and activities to support professional development and networking opportunities for artists in the five boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey and Harrow. The deadline for the receipt of application forms was 31 March 2006.
